I have to say, the best thing about getting LASIK eye surgery for me was being able to wake up every morning and actually see the time on my alarm clock. Since getting LASIK, I literally see the whole world differently.

Having two small children in the house, I was always worried that I might not be able to see clearly if something happened to my glasses. Especially in the middle of the night. Neither of my daughters sleeps well and have been known to call for me when there’s a strange noise or they have a bad dream. ...a couple hours after the surgery, there was some discomfort, but not anything I couldn’t tolerate. In fact, a couple Tylenol took care of it. But what also helps was when I looked out my kitchen window at home and saw the neighbor’s red maple across the street, I was able to see the definition of its leaves. That’s the exact moment I decided it was worth it 100%. And a few days later, my vision actually got better (slightly better than 20/20).

I’ve always had a problem with my contacts and have wanted to get LASIK done since college (where I played lacrosse, try getting glasses under that helmet). I still play on the weekend with some buddies and ever since I had the LASIK procedure, I can see the ball clearly, and I don't have to worry about breaking my glasses. And when we go out at night, or when I’m driving, I don’t have to squint to see street signs or addresses. I also love going to the beach and being able to wear regular sunglasses, it makes the whole experience a real pleasure.

Anyone who is thinking about getting this done STOP.
Stop thinking and start doing. I can’t believe the difference in my sight. This is truly and miraculous procedure. It’s fast, a little awkward, but really painless (unless you’re real sensitive) and easy. I went in a week ago without being able to see the time on my watch without my glasses to now being able to see with crystal clear accuracy everything within about 100 yards. I’m seeing details on things that I never knew were there. It’s like having HD for your head.
Yeah, the price can be tough to swallow for single guys like me, and the first day or two after you’ll probably just want to sleep, but once you get past that, you’ll be amazed at how well you can see. I’m just writing because like I said, this is unbelievable and anyone who can do it should. I just wanted to share that.
